International Women’s Day

In celebration of International Women’s day, Sophia Webster, a kitsch fashion designer, is fundraising for Womankind Worldwide! She recently invited inspiring women from all over the world to join her campaign, by taking the same signature bag to a city or location personal to them to capture a photo in front of their chosen landmark and personalise one of her signature speech bubble charms with an uplifting mantra or personal quote. International Women’s Day represents the oppression and inequality of women which has provoked a movement to become more vocal, demanding change. To this day, the world has witnessed substantial changes in society’s thoughts and attitudes about women’s equality. We celebrate women’s rights and achievements with more women in the boardroom, visible role models and greater equality in legislative rights.

However, there is still slow progress in many countries across the world which is why we call upon the women of the world to make a difference and #BeBoldForChange.

At Givergy we are proud to contribute to the education of women equality. At the start of the year we launched our first Givergy UK Lean In circle. Both female and male colleagues meet once a month to educate, encourage and support each others personal and professional goals in a collaborative and trusted environment.
