Get Creative With Your Auction Technology!
Your strategically selected theme, concept and brand for your event can flow through your auction technology. We will work closely with you to customise the theme colour, panel colours, title, logos and background image so that your technology compliments your event!
Bidding activity: leaderboard and tablet design
Matching your silent auction technology to your event branding can help maintain consistency throughout your event, help deliver your message and promote any important sponsors.
To get started on your leaderboard and tablet designs, we will require a high-resolution image of your logos in a PNG or JPG format. If you have other logos, such as sponsor logos, that you would like to include, these can also be featured in a rotating display. Additionally, its really helpful if you can provide the pantone reference of your preferred colour for the buttons and panel colours but if not, our design team can pick out a colour from your logo or image. We will then ask for an eye-catching image for the background which will make the tablets and leaderboard stand out at the event and draw your donors in. If you have opted to have a pre-event online auction with us, we could instead simply base your leaderboard and tablet designs on the website to maintain consistency and to provide a clear event brand to your guests.
Our tablet display also features configurable buttons so that the text can be edited to cater to your auction. For example, you may want to label the list Auction rather than Silent Auction or change Make a Pledge to Make a Donation. You can also insert a title at the top of the leaderboard and tablet screen such as the event name so that it corresponds with the event branding.
Using our technology with the live interactive data feeds can encourage guests to engage with your fundraising in ways that pen and paper auctions cannot! There is a variety of different leaderboard sequences available which display the auction items in different formats.
The options include a scrolling leaderboard, a carousel with rotating images of the lots and leaderboards summarising the number of bids or pledges made per table and the total amount raised against the target. These can also encourage a competitive nature among the guests, alongside the pop-up notifications which appear when guests place a bid or pledge.
You also have the option to include a countdown on the screen when your auction is drawing to a close to entice any last-minute bidders and ensure everyone is aware that they need to get their final bids in. We recommend a 10-minute countdown as this usually proves to be the prime period for the most active bidding activity.
Pledging activity: bespoke totaliser
If you are looking to display a more responsive totaliser at some point during the evening that is more unique to your campaign and will help to captivate your guests, a bespoke totaliser is your answer! Bespoke totalisers can boost audience engagement and increase momentum for the pledging aspect at your event. A bespoke totaliser is a screen display that we will create exclusively for your event, visually representing the donations that are received from your guests. This is usually used during a set time following a pledge moment however, it can also run in the background throughout the event. The totaliser can be displayed through a meter which will gradually fill as more donations are received or through other creative ways such as a picture gradually becoming clearer until the target is met or icons appearing per pledge and populating the screen. This feature offers an opportunity to be creative and think outside the box! Although bespoke totalisers come at an additional cost, in our experience they have shown to boost charity profits by an exceptional margin and add an exciting element to the nights agenda. Please keep in mind that the bespoke totaliser creation process is rigorous and takes a minimum of three weeks to build and test to ensure it works perfectly in time for your event.
As you can see, there are numerous different ways to create a distinct design for your auction technology which will compliment your event theme, concept and branding and encourage guests to engage with your fundraising!
If any of this sounds intriguing, please get in touch today. We would love to help your organisation raise more through our fundraising technology!
